Career Adventures is a career-infused learning program that helps middle school students understand why academic skills matter beyond the classroom.
Designed primarily for Grades 6–8, the program places students inside realistic career scenarios where they must observe, investigate, calculate, communicate, solve problems, and make responsible decisions. Instead of only reading about a profession, students complete authentic tasks connected to the work.
Career Adventures integrates English language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, career exploration, workplace readiness, and safety awareness into engaging, age-appropriate experiences.
A Progressive Learning Journey
Students advance through three developmental stages:
Grade 6 — Apprentice Observer
Students learn to slow down, notice important details, identify workplace roles, recognize hazards, and support their ideas with visual and written evidence.
Grade 7 — Apprentice Helper
Students begin assisting with realistic workplace responsibilities. They compare information, follow procedures, interpret technical materials, and explain how their decisions affect others.
Grade 8 — Emerging Professional
Students take on greater responsibility by analyzing problems, evaluating options, documenting conclusions, and applying academic knowledge to professional decisions.

Career Adventures can introduce students to professions and career pathways such as:
